Reports to: Dean of Faculty

Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality instruction, conduct research, and contribute to the academic development of students in the Information and Communication Technology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in ICT courses.
  • Design and update course materials, curricula, and assessment tools.
  • Supervise student projects, research, and practical assignments.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and academic administration.
  • Engage in research, scholarly publications, and community engagement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Information and Communication Technology (or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant teaching experience.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology.

Reports to: Dean of Faculty

Job Purpose

To provide quality teaching and instruction in tourism and hospitality management, fostering practical skills and industry readiness among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses related to tourism and hospitality management.
  • Develop instructional materials and evaluation schemes.
  • Guide student internships, fieldwork, and practical projects.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to maintain relevant curricula.
  • Participate in institutional research and departmental activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality (or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant teaching experience.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology.

Reports to: Dean of Faculty

Job Purpose

To facilitate undergraduate learning, lab instruction, and foundational training in information and communication technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver undergraduate lectures and laboratory exercises.
  • Assess student assignments, examinations, and projects.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
  • Assist in departmental administrative duties and program coordination.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (or related field).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology.

Reports to: Dean of Faculty

Job Purpose

To impart comprehensive knowledge in business and management disciplines, preparing students for dynamic corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach core modules in business administration and management studies.
  • Set, invigilate, and grade coursework and examinations.
  • Support student career development and professional growth.
  • Engage in departmental development and institutional events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management Studies (or related field).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology.

Reports to: Accountant / Chief Finance Officer

Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and operational accounting workflows accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial records and vouchers.
  • Support audit processes and statutory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ZICA Licentiate or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (or related field).

Additional Requirements

  • All qualifications must be ZAQA certified.
  • Relevant teaching or professional experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong commitment to teaching, research, innovation and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and digital skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and contribute to the growth of the University.
